Nick is a documentary and portrait photographer who lives in his native Yorkshire, UK.

His work explores our collective and individual relationships with the past and how it shapes identity. Rooted in personal stories and close looking, it shares much with the poetic tradition. Themes of place, love and time are quietly threaded through his pictures, which ask us to empathise with lost narratives.

In 2020 he graduated from UAL: London College of Communication with an MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography (Distinction), returning to study after a 25-year career in advertising.

His first book, Forelsket (Another Place Press), was published and shown in a solo exhibition in 2024. Alongside personal projects, he makes editorial portraits and features for magazines and organisations.
